Human Rights Fair December 6 in Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz Chapter of the ACLU is joining the United Nations Association and Amnesty International, along with twenty other non-profit co-sponsors, to host a day fair celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

The Human Rights Day Fair will be held on December 6, 2008 from Noon to 8PM at the Louden Nelson Center in downtown Santa Cruz. This event represents an important opportunity to explore ideas and accomplishments of the Human Rights movement. The Santa Cruz Chapter of the ACLU supports this forum to foster greater community participation on a topic that affects the lives of millions of people worldwide and may be of great interest to many local residents.
