Free Speech and Assembly Rights in Public Places

The Santa Cruz Chapter of the ACLU has raised objections to a recent ordinance passed by the Santa Cruz City Council which we believe is an unwarranted prohibition on free speech and assembly rights in public places.

Human Rights Fair December 6 in Santa Cruz

The Santa Cruz Chapter of the ACLU is joining the United Nations Association and Amnesty International, along with twenty other non-profit co-sponsors, to host a day fair celebrating the 60th Anniversary of the United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
